Lisa Edelstein has been an American actress for over twenty years. She is most well-known for her performance in House which airs on Fox. Growing up in Wayne with a strict Jewish customs, she emigrated to New York City at the age of eighteen to study acting at the Tisch school of arts. She soon became part of the club scene in New York and began getting headlines. Press also was impressed by her. She utilised both her training in music and fame to write and perform in a new musical, Positive Me. Soon after, she was offered the job of MTV as host of Awake on the Wild Side. Once it went off the air, she was able to appear in television and film productions, initially in short roles and gradually established herself as an actor.
