LEmily Swallow

Emily Swallow is an American actor. She began her acting career with 'Broadway acting in shows including 'KingLear' The Taming of the Shrew The Taming of the Shrew,' 'Amidsummer Night's Dream' as well as "Cat on the Hot Tin Roof.' In 2006, she stepped into TV, with the soap drama 'Guiding light.' Her other TV productions include 'Southland' The Good Wife,"Flight of the Conchords', 'Monday Mornings' and the 'Rizzoli & Isles. The actress is well-known for her performances as "Kim Fischer" in The Mentalist, a series as well as 'Amara' from the show 'Supernatural..' In the year 2008, Swallow made her film debut with 'The Lucky Ones. Then, she appeared in 'The Odds' and "Forget Me Not" in the years 2010 and 2018 in both 2010 and 2018. Emily Swallow continues to perform on the stage. She's appeared in shows such as 'Nice Fish,' which is performed in the Guthrie Theatre along with as in the musical 'High Fidelity and 'High Fidelity', which premiered on Broadway. Madekwe, a British-Nigerian mixed race child, was born to an ethnically diverse family from South London. Madekwe is English, and her father was Nigerian. Her family was raised on a south London council estate, and went to The Brit School at age 14. She went to The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London in which she earned a BA in acting.
