SerindaSerinda Swan is a mother of actresses and a theatre director father, was born in West Vancouver, British Columbia on the 11th of July 1984. She was always focused at acting. Madekwe, a British-Nigerian mixed race child, was born to an ethnically diverse family from South London. Madekwe is English, and her father was Nigerian. Her family was raised on a south London council estate, and went to The Brit School at age 14. She went to The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London in which she earned a BA in acting.
