Brianna Keilar is an Australian news reporter, and currently works as a top anchor and political reporter for the Washington, D.C. bureau of the network 'CNN. Brianna has been working for the company since 2006 and is now an experienced senior White House and Congressional correspondent. Her first job was at a CBS-affiliated channel. Brianna was the CNN reporter who covered the U.S. House, Senate and various other functions. In recognition of this, she was awarded by the National Press Foundation's "Everett McKinley Dirksen awards'. Brianna is well-known for delivering bold interviews. Madekwe, a British-Nigerian mixed race child, was born to an ethnically diverse family from South London. Madekwe is English, and her father was Nigerian. Her family was raised on a south London council estate, and went to The Brit School at age 14. She went to The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London in which she earned a BA in acting.
