Raul Alejandro Ruiz Ocasio Ruiz born on 10 January 1993 is a Puerto Rican singer/songwriter. Referred to as the "King of Contemporary Reggaeton",[2][3He is part of "the new generation" of Puerto Rican urban musicians. The album he released his debut, Afrodisiaco (studio album), was released in November of 2020. Vice Versa was his second studio album. The album's first single, "Todo de Ti", was released in June 2021. From 12 nominations, the singer was awarded two Latin Grammy Awards. Raul Alejandro Ruiz the Latin Grammy Award winner was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on the 10th of January 1993. He also grew up in Canovanas as well as Carolina. [4][5] His father Raul Ocasio Ruiz played guitar and his mother Maria Nelly Ruiz was his back-up vocalist. They introduced him to the music of Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley. Alejandro and his father lived for a long time in the United States. They mainly resided in New York City and Miami. Alejandro and Anuel A.A. an colleague of Puerto Rican rapper are childhood close friends. They attended the same school together and shared classes. [9][10] Alejandro was a dancer with talent as a youngster and was also a contestant in talent shows. He attended the University of Puerto Rico after he graduated high school. He was a soccer player between six to twenty. He eventually resigned due to the fact that he did not perform as expected. He eventually relocated to Orlando to try to be selected by the Premier Development League (PDL). Rauw Alejandro's style of music includes Latin R&B, reggaeton, ballads, and rhythmic pop. Billboard stated that it has contributed to "set him out from the growing group of reggaetoneros who are influenced by pop". He was initially influenced by Presley and Jackson, and later by Ricky Martin, Daddy Yankee as well as Chris Brown. He also mentions Ciara as an influencer in music.
